Musca Law is an outstanding Criminal Defense team, and I do mean team. I was charged with a first degree felony for obstruction of Justice by port authorities who suspected me of being an arms dealer because they found in my trunk a rebuild kit for a lower unit to a 300 Blackout assault rifle. The reason I was even approached by these officers is I was taking pictures of a ship that was under investigation for transporting illegal arms overseas. I was unaware that you could not take pictures of any vessels while in the port and did not have any knowledge of this vessel being under port surveillance, but this did not matter to the arresting officers. I tried to explain to them that I was just a tourist, and was just trying to get some pictures of these huge cargo ships and Navel ships to share with friends and offered to delete any pictures that I had already taken but to no avail, these officers were convinced that I was involved with arms dealing. Even after I explained that I am a decorated vet and just visiting the port for the first time they insisted that I was lying to them. I spent two days in a holding cell before I was charged and told what bond I could pay for my release. As soon as I returned home I began to look for an attorney but I could not find a local attorney that could help me with such a case, especially one of this magnitude. So I had to look for law firm that was large enough to handle the case for me but still only cost me a fair price since I did not live anywhere near Port. After explaining my predicament to several law firms and getting projections of the cost for my defense I chose Musca Law. Prior to that they first got my charges reduced to a Misdemeanor charge which I was very satisfied with but the Lawyers at Musca law were not satisfied with that because I would still have something on my record, when I went to court on November 20 2019, I expected to be charged with a Misdemeanor of Trespass but to my astonishment I walked out of the court room with no charges on my record at all. For a vet who prides the right to bare arms an having a clean record is a must if you want to own a weapon.
